Our stay at Sub Karakoy was excellent! The location couldn't be better – just a short walk from the Galata Bridge and near some of Istanbul's trendiest neighborhoods like Karakoy, Beyoglu, Kabatas, which are full of cool cafes, restaurants, and shops. The area has a lively, urban vibe, and we loved that the street parallel to the hotel was lined with great spots for breakfast or a casual meal. The hotel itself is modern and well-designed, with comfortable rooms that made for a relaxing stay after a day of sightseeing. This is definitely a perfect base for exploring Istanbul!

The location was perfect. Karakoy is a wonderful suburb to walk around. Plenty of cafes and restaurants. Walking distance to port, Galata tower and other attractions. The tram/cable car stop is just around the corner - which can take you to the Metro or directly to Sultanahmet. The accomodation was very comfortable and had a very artistic and modern feel, which ties in well to the Karakoy aesthetic. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location, great interior design. Great rooms, we had all we needed although our (number 24) was a little dark but that's not important and there's no space to put your clothes. There are some hangers and one shelf but it would never be enough for 2. We kept ours in our luggages. But it's fine. It's just the preferences. We enjoyed our breakfast on the rooftop of the nearby hotel. Having breakfast with a view overlooking the Bosporus was lovely ! Overall great experience!

We stayed at the hotel for 4 days. I liked the stylish interiors and the incredible view from the lounge area on the 6th floor. Very tasty breakfasts (small, but hearty, and they also serve beautiful desserts). Separately, I would like to note the incredibly friendly and helpful manager Ozlem. Always available tea, coffee and water in the lounge area on the 1st floor. If you eat in winter, then you need to consider that the room is heated only by air conditioning, but it is powerful. Pets are allowed in the hotel (but it is better to check and call). Thanks to the staff for the New Year holidays!

The hotel has a cozy atmosphere, comfortable rooms, and a prime central location that makes everything accessible. The accommodations were excellent, and the team went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. We especially appreciated the complimentary breakfast at Root Hotel, their partner establishment, which was a lovely touch. Thank you to Adar and the entire team for their warm welcome and outstanding service throughout our stay. Highly recommended!"

In the best location in Istanbul. Karakoy is really a wonderful place. all restaurants and cafes are very close. Galata port is a 3-4 minute walk. tranvay 2 minutes away. The concept of the hotel is really perfect. The wc is like a ship cabin. The bed was very nice. There was also a Harman Cardon sound system in our room. The hotel really has a very rustic design. The reception welcomed us very warmly. The lady who cleaned our room was also very kind.

Sub Karakoy is a cool, arty, boutique hotel located in the best area to stay in Istanbul. Upon arrival and check out I was helped by Arda. He was unbelievable helpful and kind. I had to check out 8 hours before leaving for the airport. He kept an eye on my bag and assured me it would be safe. The staff was friendly and outgoing. I will definitely return to this hotel my next time in Istanbul.

Great vibe and location near the Bosphorus, with many quirky bars and restaurants nearby. Loved the rock star decor throughout, all the furniture and artworks were very cool! The staff were friendly and helpful.
